Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Christinah Marie Gaddy, MSHI, RHIA, as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    LITTLE ROCK, AR, March 05, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christinah Marie Gaddy, MSHI, RHIA, Regional Medical Records Director for Correct Care Solutions (CCS), has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Christinah Gaddy will be featured in an upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Serving as the Regional Director of the Medical Records for Correct Care Solutions (CCS), Christinah Marie Gaddy is the custodian of the records for all prisons in the state of Arkansas. Her role is to manage all inmates' health information and medical records, ensure records are released to only those authorized, provide accurate records in a timely manner when requested, view records, make declarations, and/or testify to their authenticity. She also constructs and provides training regarding medical record procedures and policies.

"I love what I do and the people I work with," Gaddy said. "I have a great team of people working with me to help accomplish what our department is responsible for. I couldn't do my job without them."

In order to work in her current role, Gaddy gained credentials in Health Information Management in 2014, which is a Registered Health Information Administrator certification. She also holds a BS in Health Information Management with a minor in Emergency Administration and Management since 2012 and a MS in Health Informatics since 2015.

Gaddy is a member of the Arkansas Health Information Management Association (ArHIMA), which is a part of the American Health Information Management Association. ArHIMA is a group of health information management professionals dedicated to providing quality healthcare by assuring that personal health information is managed in the appropriate manner in all settings where healthcare is delivered. She also volunteers her time assisting those in need through the OES organization and helping unfortunate children by participating in the 'Shop with a Cop' program.
