Ammon Analytical Laboratory Donates Bicycles to Youths in Need As Part of Unique Team-Building Event

    EDISON, NJ, March 08, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ammon Analytical Laboratory recently sponsored a unique Professional Team-Building event featuring assembling bicycles with the New Jersey Professional Liaison Association (NJPLA) to benefit local families in need.

The high-energy event kicked off with excitement and fast-paced interaction, culminating in a process that solidified friendships and increased team connection. Teams collaborated to overcome obstacles, solve problems and achieve goals while having fun. Activities included mental, emotional and physical challenges that required working together and relying on others to achieve a common goal. For the final activity, the teams assembled bicycles from scratch with limited instructions, time and tools - an exercise that revealed the strong leadership and teamwork skills of each participant.

Once the bicycles were completed, the doors opened. Each of the 10 bicycles assembled were presented to a youth from a lower income neighborhood, whose parents could not have afforded to purchase the bike. The children's eyes lit up with joy and excitement. The experience of contributing to the life of a child and the satisfaction of connecting with the community gave team members an unforgettable sense of pride and accomplishment.
