Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Diane Divone as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    NORTHPORT, NY, March 12, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane Divone, Owner and Creator of Full Circle Wellness Center (FCWC), has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Diane Divone will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Owner and Creator of Full Circle Wellness Center, Diane Divone loves being in service to others. In her work as a Body-Mind Therapist, she helps her clients understand the connection between their thoughts and their emotions and how the relationship between the two impacts the health of their body. As a Medical Intuitive, she coaches her clients in self-awareness while incorporating movement, emotional release techniques and conscious dialogue to help heal old wounds and transform limiting beliefs.

"When I was 20, I was raped by a Medical Doctor, which went unreported," Divone said. "However, this horrific and traumatic event shaped my entire life on many levels. Ultimately, it led me down the path of alternative healing."

In the 1970's, Divone began studying alternative forms of healing, which included herbal medicine, flower remedies, homeopathy, and hands on healing. She also engaged in body-centered psychotherapy and emotional release therapy to help her connect to the deep feelings of anger, shame, and fear that she held in her body.

"It wasn't until my mother became terminally ill in the 1990's that I decided to follow my dreams of creating a wellness center," Divone added. "I knew that I needed the comfort and support of other women and, it seemed logical to say goodbye to what was familiar and create a new path for myself".

Full Circle Wellness Center was formed in October 1993, two months prior to Divone's mother's passing. The center has two locations: Northport and Bellmore, New York.

Divone is also the Co-Owner/Co-Founder of Dance Your Prayers retreats. This is a mindful movement practice that facilitates greater flexibility in body, mind and spirit. These retreats combine the adventure of travel with the deep exploration of conscious dance. The excursions are fun, relaxing and reflective. In 2014, Divone and her business partner danced their way around Iceland and are leading another retreat in Colorado in April 2016.

Certified in numerous areas of study, some of Divone's education includes Reiki Master, Past Life Hypnotherapist, Wild Plant Identification/Traditional Medicine Techniques/Medicinal Herbalism/Sacred Ways of Plants, Transformational Breathwork, Primary Emotional Energy Recovery and Matrix Energetics.
