NORWALK, CA, March 14, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Arlene Mazak, Owner of Mazak Global Management and Innercall: Personal and Transpersonal Development, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in professional training and coaching.
Dr. Mazak has nearly 30 years of professional experience, first as a graduate school professor, and then as the owner and principal of two businesses: Mazak Global Management and Innercall: Personal and Transpersonal Development. Throughout her careers, she has set herself apart through her skills in transformational education, religious literacy, leadership coaching, cultural psychologies, intercultural communications, transpersonal psychology, and psychotherapy. She is also adept at providing spiritual direction, interfaith ministry, management consulting, mediation, conflict resolution, and anti-racist training. On a daily basis, she is responsible for coaching clients and conducting diversity training as a specialist. She also provides organizational development and transformation services for global organizations. Working with the principles of conscious capitalism, or conscious business, she can help leaders develop value-added or value-based corporations.
Dr. Mazak is currently sponsoring three orphaned children and their elderly grandmother in The Gambia, West Africa, providing funds for their food, medical needs and education. The children are 21, 16, and 9 years old. The eldest is a boy and the other two are girls.
Looking back, Dr. Mazak attributes her success to her hard work and fascination with learning from people of diverse cultures. She became involved in her professions because of her extensive foreign travel in European and Asian countries, and her experiences in transformational learning, facilitating group discussion, and receiving psychotherapy and interspiritual spiritual direction. The highlight of her academic career was living in South Asia, conducting research on Hinduism in India as a Fulbright-Hays Fellow, and a sabbatical researching Buddhism in Nepal, living with a Tibetan Buddhist ordained community. She also led a three-week study tour of Hinduism in South India for a bus load of her graduate students. Meeting various saints and spiritual masters, she found these encounters to be personally transformational, changing her understanding of reality, and leading to further interest in anthropology, consciousness studies, and intercultural communications.
Dr. Mazak holds a graduate certificate in Organizational Development and Transformation from the California Institute of Integral Studies. In 2015, she qualified for the Practitioner's Certificate at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communications. She completed coursework in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression at the Institute of Thought in 2007. She also studied Gerontology at Coastline Community College in 2003, became online faculty in the Gerontology Department, and served on the Faculty Advisory Board. She received a Master of Arts and Ph.D. in South Asian Languages and Civilizations from The University of Chicago in 1994, and she has earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Francisco. She is currently completing a certificate in the Art of Spiritual Direction, and is a student at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary. In June, 2016, she will be ordained and plans to have an interfaith ministry in social justice and peacebuilding.
In order to maintain ties to other industry professionals, Dr. Mazak became a member of Spiritual Directors International, the International Association for Regression Research & Therapies, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Academy of Management, The Jung Club, the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness, the Sri Aurobindo Association, Unity Church of Tustin, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Long Beach, the Vajrayana Foundation, and the Fellowship of Reconciliation.
In recognition of her hard work and dedication, Dr. Mazak has been recognized by Marquis Who's Who in America for many years. She also received a number of graduate fellowships from the U.S. Department of Education, and the 1993 Dean's Prize for Faculty Research at the California Institute of Integral Studies. In years to come, Dr. Mazak intends to continue to establish her businesses, and to develop innovative crossover services.
