Segway of Ontario Announces New Products and Change of Name to Go Tours Canada

    TORONTO, ON, March 23, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Exciting news today from Canada's tourism industry - award winning tour company, Segway of Ontario, is announcing a name change to Go Tours Canada effective March 30th, 2016. Ontario and Canada's tourism industry is expected to grow quickly over the next few years and the company plans to outpace this growth by broadening their portfolio of tours extensively over 2016. The existing Segway of Ontario brand will stay in use for sales and service of Segways, Ninebots and brand new Segway Mini-Pro. The company will retain their iconic gorilla logo and colour scheme to be used by both brands.

For over 11 years Segway of Ontario has provided top quality tours and events. "Our expert guides, tour content and fun products have built Segway of Ontario into one of the provinces most popular attractions." explains managing partner, Aaron Binder. "Our new name is the beginning of many new products and social initiatives we plan to launch over the next few years. Our goal is to continue providing incredible and memorable experiences to visitors while we support Canada's growing tourism industry with existing and new jobs at a reasonable living wage."

In 2016 the company plans to launch two new walking tours and a history podcast. The Old Town Toronto Booze, Politics and Guns tour will start and end in the Distillery and include a walk past some of Toronto's most famous historic sites. In addition to this tour, the company is adding the Distillery Deluxe Tasting Tour. An off-shoot of existing corporate event options, the Deluxe tour is designed for everyone to enjoy without having to be part of a corporate team. It will feature food and drink tastings from multiple Distillery District vendors and a modified version of the companies award-winning "Booze, Death and Cholera" tour content. The Real Canadian History Podcast will launch in Summer 2016 and feature 10 episodes on the history of Toronto from the earliest Haudenosaunee and Wendat settlements to the current day. Listeners will hear a keen take on the massive turning points the city went through from warfare to prohibition, bathhouse riots and the infamous Rob Ford.
