LOS ANGELES, CA, March 23, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Guests were invited to experience the Roberto Cavalli 2016 Spring Collection Thursday in Beverly Hills, CA with 15% of sales being donated to Face Forward. Face Forward provides pro bono reconstructive surgery to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and other acts of violent crime.
In attendance were Face Forwards founders, Dr. David Alessi and his wife Deborah Alessi, who is a survivor of domestic abuse and a true advocate of this worthy cause. Dr. & Mrs. Alessi along with Face Forwards Executive Director, Mandi Edwards, were met with much interest and support from some of Hollywood's elite like Jessica Morris (One Life to Live), Kelly Jenrette (Grandfathered) and Alice Amter (Big Bang Theory) to name a few.
Roberto Cavalli has also extended this shopping experience, and will continue donating a portion of sales to Face Forward through March 23, 2016. Face Forward is a non-profit organization, a 501(c)(3) registered in the State of California. In 2015 alone, they have provided over $750,000 pro bono treatments to their patients. Since an average patient's treatment costs approximately $5,000, every penny helps.
In 2008, Dr. & Mrs. Alessi co-founded the Face Forward Inc., an inspirational charity helping women and children suffering from domestic violence, human trafficking and other acts of violent crimes by providing complimentary reconstructive surgery.
