The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic to Award a Total of $17,000 in Scholarships to Deserving Florida High School Seniors

    JACKSONVILLE, FL, March 23, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As a part of the firm's longstanding commitment to education, The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic has announced that it will grant three college scholarships totaling $17,000 to deserving high school seniors in Florida.

"A college education serves as the foundation on which to build a brighter future for any student," said firm founder Steve Pajcic. "Our aim is to help make the dream more attainable for deserving students, despite financial limitations they may face."

The Pajcic Scholarship Program 2016 will award three scholarships: a $10,000 scholarship to the first-place winner, a $5,000 scholarship to the second-place winner and a $2,000 scholarship to the third-place winner.

There will be a second set of awards in the same amounts if the firm receives more than 100 applications.

Applicants must submit an original essay that addresses the issue of distracted driving. The essays, which must total between 600 and 900 words, will focus on one of the following topics:

- "Distracted Driving and Me." A personal story about either yourself or a close family member who was affected by distracted driving.
- "Distracted Driver Awareness Campaign." A personal story about an awareness campaign you have personally organized or administrated.
- "Why You Shouldn't Text and Drive." An article appealing to young drivers that conveys the message that distracted driving is dangerous.

The entries will be judged based on merit and creativity.

In order to participate, an applicant must be a resident of Florida who is a high school senior in Florida and plans to attend an institution of higher learning in the United States. The deadline for entries is April 1, and winners will be notified by May 15.
