OC High School Seniors Enter to Win $500 in Greenstar Home Services' "Green It Up!" Scholarship Contest

    ORANGE, CA, March 24, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Greenstar Home Services is giving one lucky student an opportunity to win funds in its "Green It Up!" $500 Scholarship Contest.

The environmentally conscious company's team knows how expensive college is for American students and they want to help cut the costs. High school students in Orange County, CA can submit their essays (minimum 400 words) explaining three ways they respect the environment to enter the contest. The staff at Greenstar Home Services is thrilled to read the essays on how high school seniors live green and reduce their carbon footprint.

Students need to be a graduating senior that is eligible to attend a college, university or trade school in the fall of 2016. Other eligibility requirements for the "Green It Up" $500 Scholarship Giveaway include:

- Entrants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States.
- Entrants must be graduating from high school in the spring 2016 and be eligible to enroll in higher education upon graduation.

Submit essays on Greenstar's website (www.greenstarscholarship.com) for a chance to win a $500 scholarship. The contest ends at 5:00pm PST, May 1, 2016. Greenstar's computer is the official timekeeping device for this contest.

The company's team members are the official judges of the essays and the winner will be announced on May 15, 2016.
