WFPF Announces the World's 1st Parkour Pro-Am!

    LOS ANGELES, CA, March 26, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Parkour Challengers from around the US will be heading to Vegas on April 1st to try their skills against some of the World's best. WFPF, the World Freerunning Parkour Federation (www.wfpf.com) and USA Parkour (www.usaparkour.org) are proud to announce the "WFPF Parkour Pro-Am Championship, Las Vegas", a part of the USA All-Star Games set to take place April 1-3, 2016 at the Mandalay Bay. Parkour competitions are still a relatively new thing, so in order to uncover outstanding new athletes, WFPF has opened registration to the first fifty Challengers who sign up. Competing in a Saturday qualifier, the top twenty athletes will advance to the main event on Sunday, where they will face 15 prequalified "Pros", athletes who have achieved some measure of recognized success in the world of Parkour. This "first of its kind" event is produced with additional support by USA Sports Productions, and sponsorship by Know Obstacles Parkour shoes & apparel- the official apparel brand of WFPF, Adventure Combat Ops Las Vegas, Breathe Parkour (Canada), HKPK Las Vegas, DGS-Deary Gymnastics Supply and Integrated Obstacles.

Founded in 2007, the World Freerunning Parkour Federation (www.wfpf.com) is the leading international organization for the sport of Parkour, representing 50 of the world's top athletes.
