Girija G. Nair, Ph.D. Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Project Management and Quality Assurance

Recognized for two and a half decades of invaluable contributions to her field, Dr. Nair parlays her knowledge into her role with Keewatin Yatthe Regional Health Authority, a government health organization that provides community development, mental health, and addiction services. On a day-to-day basis, in her role as executive director of health services, she handles daily emails, as well as human resources issues, and also reports and charts for long term care facilities.

An amazing example of excellence in her field, Dr. Nair outshines others in her field because of a combination of her prior industry experiences and her educational background, which includes a Master of Nursing from Delhi University, a Master of Philosophy in nursing from the same institution, and a Ph.D. in nursing education from the University of Saskatchewan. During that time, she also completed a teaching fellowship at the University. In order to maintain a connection to her field, she affiliates herself with the Indian Palliative Care Society and the Association of Saskatchewan Nurses. Looking forward, Dr. Nair wants to launch a tool she has developed through her Ph.D. project for assisting undergraduate students for self regulating and enhancing their critical thinking skills.
