DALLAS, TX, March 31, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- AdTel International, Inc.'s Doctorconnect.net is an interactive patient communication service using two-way text/SMS, voice, and email communications to increase patient and family engagement. A newly created software module that has been added to the system is for management of receivables. The new interface allows all the patients with outstanding balances to instantly be sent text, phone, and email payment reminders. All replies are sent back into doctorconnect.net for easy interactive communication and can include online payments.
Ross Manley, Vice President for AdTel, said, "Our clients in the medical field are seeing larger past due balances on their accounts. Large finance companies are already doing payment reminders by text, so it is a logical step for our patient engagement software. AdTel utilizes all forms of communications, text, voice, and email; however, the text message is seeing the greatest results in improving cash flow of the medical practice."
The process is simple. AdTel will import a receivable report from the clinics EMR/PM system (in certain cases this can be completely automated). Persons who have past due balances are loaded into the system and a custom message can be written. The message is then delivered and read by over 95% of the recipients. The medical industry has found the reach of the system allows new payments to be made or payment schedules to be set. Recipients reply to the text message with contact information and often with the reason payment is late. Many people that respond to the text message would have simply avoided a phone call or past due mailer.
Manley said the system is capable of helping the consumer become more financially responsible with reminders which keep the obligation fresh in the consumer's mind. The ability of the messages to be grouped by payment dates with different custom messages in English or Spanish give doctorconnect.net the ability to help small and large practices. Text message payment reminders are the best way to produce a payment through a friendly reminder.
