Chamie A. Riley, Esq. Honored for Excellence in Juvenile Defense

Ms. Riley has eight years of professional experience, with four years as an attorney of Riley Law, PLLC. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart through her work in juvenile defense, particularly with regard to custody and neglect issues. Each day, she works with clients and acts as an adjunct professor of criminal law.

Ms. Riley has been practicing law for more than eight years. She opened her own firm, Riley Law Firm, in 2011. This firm supports the military and its families. Ms. Riley grew up in a military family where her father served in the Navy for 30 years. In addition to her being an attorney, Ms. Riley also serves as an adjunct criminal law professor. Ms. Riley's first encounter with law was when her mother watched Perry Mason. She began her career in different directions at first and, after her divorce, decided to reinvent herself.

Ms. Riley received a JD from Regent University School of Law. Additionally, she is a certified guardian ad litem for children through the Virginia Supreme Court. She maintains affiliation with I'Anson-Hoffman Inn of Court, the Hampton Bar Association, the Hampton Stakeholders Group, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Greater Peninsula Women's Bar Association. She has been voted "10 Best" by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys in 2015, and she is a Top Attorney in Virginia as Recognized by Peers, and an Outstanding Young Lawyer. In the near future, he intends to continue on the same road. She also plans to bring in more association in the future.
