Debbie Drozda Has Been the Director of Marketing and Sales Lighting Since 2009

    TORONTO, ON, April 08, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Debbie Drozda, Director of Strategic Services Hubbell Electrical Systems of Hubbell Incorporated has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business improvement.

Ms. Drozda has 33 years of professional experience, with six years as a director of strategic services for Hubbell Electrical Systems for Hubbell Incorporated. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart in several fields, including business improvement profitability, logistics and automation. Each day, she is responsible for leading HES' global environmental, health and safety program, as well as its customs compliance initiatives. She serves as a platform liaison with Hubbell corporate headquarters regarding sourcing initiatives and property management issues.

Ms. Drozda has been with Hubbell Incorporated since 1996, and has been director of marketing and sales lighting since 2009. Her previous position was as a director of operations from 1998 to 2009. She has been in the electrical industry for the last 30 years.

Looking back, Ms. Drozda attributes her success to the knowledge she gained from working for three great mentors, who guided her in education, operations advice and business improvement. She became involved in her profession after she found her first job out of school in the electrical industry.

Ms. Drozda received a high school diploma and has also completed coursework in business at The Schulich School of Business at York University. In addition to her diploma, she has been certified in production and inventory management at APICS, and she is a certified professional sales associate. She maintains affiliation with the Durham Strategic Energy Alliance, APICS and the Greater Toronto Marketing Alliance. In years to come, Ms. Drozda hopes to be occupying a general manager position.
