Maria Luisa Fulgueira Honored for Excellence in Business Administration

    BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, April 08, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maria Luisa Fulgueira, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Daltosur S.R.L. has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business administration.

Ms. Fulgueira has 49 years of professional experience, with six years as the owner and CEO of Daltosur S.R.L. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart as an expert in business generation and management, business finance and administration, and trade show networking. Each day, she is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the company and providing value-based services and solutions appropriate to the clients' specific marketplaces. She also directs sales and marketing initiatives, while visiting trade shows to promote the company and network with other professionals as well as contact new suppliers.

In 1976, Ms. Fulgueira, became the first female chief executive officer of a multinational company located in Bolivia. In 1990, she accomplished the same in Argentina, and in 1995, she became the first Latin American female director of a multinational company.

Looking back, Ms. Fulgueira attributes her success to her perseverance and the passion she has for her work. She also credits her efforts to learn on a continual basis. She became involved in her profession after retiring from a 40-year career as a corporate manager. She recognized an opportunity, and used her skill set and years of experience to found Daltosur S.R.L.

Ms. Fulgueira received an MBA from the University of Sao Paulo, and she is a Certified Public Accountant. She maintains affiliation with local chapters of the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists, and she is the president and founder of the Argentine Forum for Executive Women. Ms. Fulgueira also serves as the president of the Entrepreneurs Force and a member of Voces Vitales Argentina and the International Women's Forum. In recognition of her hard work and dedication, she was named as an Entrepreneur of the Year in 2004, and she has been listed in "Who Are They, How They Got There, and How They Live, The Most Important Women in Argentina." Ms. Fulgueira is one of 100 Argentinian leaders published by Apertura Magazine, which is the equivalent of an American publication like "Forbes."
