Mr. Teff has 13 years of professional experience, with two years as a partner and attorney of Kirk & Teff, LLP. Throughout his career, he has set himself apart as an expert in workers' compensation. Additionally, he represents clients in the areas of workplace injury, injured workers' rights, claim filing, offsets and overpayments, hearing notices, fraud allegations, labor market attachment, denial and appeals, settlements, death benefits, child support and Social Security disability.

He has published numerous academic articles in various law journals throughout his career. He was granted admittance to practice in the Third Department in New York in 2002. Mr. Teff has lectured on workers' compensation subjects throughout New York for the Injured Workers' Bar Association, and has lectured on workers' compensation for the New York State Bar Association. He became involved in his profession because his father was an attorney and his mother was involved with politics.

Mr. Teff received a JD from Albany Law School at Union University in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany in 1998. He maintains Hudson Valley Area for the New York Injured Workers' Bar Association, and the Albany County and Ulster County Bar Associations. He is a former member of the New York State Bar Association's Special Committee to Review the Code of Judicial Conduct; Former Member, New York State Bar Committee on Procedures for Judicial Discipline. In the coming years, he intends to build the practice and gain the attention of new clients. He plans to expand geographically outside the capital district, as well as maintain the service and level of professionalism that the practice has today.
