Buffalo Creek Vacations Announces Grand Opening of Caboose Cabin Rental in the Great Smoky Mountains, North Carolina

    ASHEVILLE, NC, April 09, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Buffalo Creek Vacations announces the Grand Opening of its new caboose cabin. The caboose, named the Seaboard Coast Line #0877 is the first in an upcoming group of Caboose cabins to open for rental in Clyde, NC. The Seaboard Coast Line #0877 opens in early April, 2016.

The Seaboard Coast Line #0877, a 1960's caboose, came from Fayetteville, NC. It was originally a part of the old Seaboard Coast Line Railroad which operated in the late sixties through the early eighties in the Southeastern United States.

The caboose has been completely restored to its original color and transformed into a fully functional rental cabin. The caboose cabin is about 390 square feet and has one bedroom, plus a cupola where kids can sleep with a window view of the bison. Additionally, the cabin is furnished with a full kitchen, bathroom and wireless Internet.

The Seaboard Coast Line #0877 caboose rental is the latest edition to the Buffalo Creek Vacations compound, a 65-acre bison ranch located in the Great Smoky Mountains. In addition to the newly added caboose rental, there are currently five rental cabins which range in sizes and amenities, sleeping anywhere from two to fourteen. Other activities include hiking, fishing, and swimming in the nearby Pigeon River.
