TEMPE, AZ, April 20, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On March 18th, Associated Asset Management (AAM), a nationally recognized leader in community association management, hosted their highly anticipated annual tradeshow in which 80 reputable association vendors were invited to participate and showcase their services to their Community Managers and support staff.
In addition to being a fun and informative way for our Managers to learn about some of the Valley's top association vendors, AAM also utilizes the tradeshow as a charitable platform to spread their companywide initiative of giving back to the communities in which they serve. This year, AAM proudly partnered with Special Olympics Arizona and donated all proceeds from the event to benefit this incredible organization.
Paying further homage to the spirit of the organization, AAM encouraged employees and vendors to wear Olympic attire. The theme was also carried throughout the entire tradeshow with the abundance of Olympic-themed booth displays, games and prizes, including a DJ that played some of the crowd's favorite dance music.
During the tradeshow, AAM had the honor of presenting Special Olympics Arizona with a cash donation of $12,624.07 and a total collection of 1,300 items to benefit their Healthy Athletes program.
The various donated items included:
- Sunscreen
- Deodorant
- Ice Packs
- Hand Sanitizer
- Bandages and First Aid Items
- Travel Sized Personal Hygiene Kits
o Shampoo
o Conditioner
o Clean Wipes
o Bar Soap
"This year's tradeshow was a huge success," said AAM President Amanda Shaw. "As a company, it is one of our goals to cultivate a culture of compassion. Each year, it becomes increasingly apparent we are achieving that goal with the continuous outpouring of support and contributions we receive, both monetary and volunteering, from our wonderful employees and vendors. Also, we would like to extend a warm thank you to Special Olympics Arizona for joining and participating in our tradeshow. It was truly an honor meeting members of their team as well as some of their extremely talented athletes."
