Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Dzonrial Monika McCrary as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    WARNER ROBINS, GA, April 23, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dzonrial Monika McCrary, Founder and Executive Director of Single Moms Connect, Inc., has been recognized with an Excellence Award as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Dzonrial Monika McCrary was recently featured in the March 2016 edition of Women of Distinction Magazine.

As Founder and Executive Director of Single Moms Connect, Inc. since inception in July 2014, Dzonrial Monika McCrary and her business partner, Tenesha Dykes, mission is to provide services to single mothers and their children to help improve their quality of living through economic developments, community outreach programs, and basic life skills training for their overall well-being.

Serving as the strategic planner and visionary for the organization, McCrary develops and evaluates program effectiveness, creates marketing strategies to build membership and public relations, and trains others how to be more productive and able to serve in their positions. Recruiting, specifically, is a task that comes natural to her because it simply means sharing her own story and experiences with other single mothers like her in an effort to gain their trust and build healthy relationship with them.

"Tenesha and I were both single moms going through similar experiences just prior to forming the organization," McCrary said. "We often counseled each other through life's many challenges without feeling judged or betrayed. "Today, we get to provide other single moms with service, advice, and sisterly support."

McCrary also started a single mom's ministry in a local church, Agape Outreach Ministries, Inc. in Warner Robins, Georgia, which has since become one of Single Moms Connect's biggest supporters in the community. At the one year anniversary of the Mothers Empowering Mothers program, which is hosted by Single Moms Connect, Inc., McCrary and Dykes recognized several moms for their accomplishments, including Mother of the Year. The program shed light on the women and showed the effectiveness of their programs and events and how they've positively impacted the lives of single moms and their mentors in the community.

McCrary is a single mom with twin sons, ages 19, and a three-year-old who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has written two inspirational stage plays, 'Thru the Storm' and 'My Cross to Bare'. She is a Vision Coach Advocate for women's issues and children of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Earning her BBA from Fort Valley State University in 2001, she is also a Licensed Nail Technician through Okaloosa Applied Technology since 2004 and a Certified Make-up Artist since 2001.
