Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Kristina A. Rugh as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    GREENSBURG, PA, May 05, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristina A. Rugh, QuickBooks ProAdvisor/Marketing Specialist for HLC Bookkeeping and Office Services, has been recognized with an Excellence Award as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Kristina Rugh will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Beginning her career with HLC Bookkeeping and Office Services in 2005, Rugh has been gaining more and more experience throughout the years, as far back as 1988. Today, she is working diligently as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor/Marketing Specialist for the company, overseeing bookkeeping set-up and support, serving as a trainer, providing office consulting and support services for businesses and non-profits to include database maintenance, letters, flyers, fundraising events, and more, providing affordable marketing solutions for clients, creating and coordinating HLC's marketing strategy, and creating and publishing materials that support business and personal success.

Named to LinkedIn's Top 1% of Recommended Bookkeepers in 2013, Rugh was also previously named Women's Business Network (WBN) Service Woman of the Year in 2012, which awards members for greatly distinguishing herself through meritorious service in the furthering of the organization's mission and goals. Rugh also serves on WBN's Executive Strategic Implementation Team and their Strategic Planning Committee, and holds a staff position with them as a bookkeeper.

Rugh holds a BA in Elementary Education from Grove City College. She is also Vice-President of Householder Lifestyle Consulting, LLC since 2007, which focuses on using the principles of hospitality, organization, and professionalism as a framework for bringing success to small businesses, personal households, and non-profit organizations. Additionally, Rugh published her first children's book in 2008; there are currently three books in its series. Book titles include: 'Welcome to the Pond, An Introduction to Hospitality'; 'Everything in Place, An Introduction to Organization; and 'More than How You Act, An Introduction to Professionalism'. In June 2016 Rugh will be releasing her 4th childrens' book that will focus on helping children handle the emotions associated with grieving.
