F/W2016 Fashion Week Brooklyn Runway Shows and Designers Announced

    NEW YORK, NY, May 05, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fashion Week Brooklyn (FWBK), the Official Fashion Week of the Borough, kicked of its 10th year anniversary season earlier this week with their first ever Retailers Runway Show at the iconic Kings Plaza. Over 1000+ spectators lined up on crowded balconies to catch a glimpse of the highly-anticipated show. Special guests included Project Runway's Junior Finalist Samantha C and several local politicians. The remaining shows will feature couture and ready to wear collections from international emerging designers.

This season, Fashion Week Brooklyn will feature designers from Alaska, India, Germany, Korea, the Middle East, Mexico and the United States. Designers making their debut will include: Reviled, Olga Gergel, Shaman Furs, Vino Supraja, THABTO, SAKU, LEEOH L, Studio SF Saba Pervaiz, and Paulo Succar, making this season a sensational showing of established and emerging designers from around the world.

The remaining FWBK's F/W2016 show schedule includes: The Young Designers Collection on May 5th, at 5:30 PM, at Willoughby Plaza/corner Willoughby and Pearl Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201; and two "invite-only" Couture and Ready-to-Wear shows on May 6th and 7th. Since its debut in 2006, FWBK has made Brooklyn the place for international and local designers within the community to showcase their collections.
