Her professional affiliations include the International Society for Performance Improvement, the Missouri National Guard Association, the National Guard Association of Illinois, The National Guard Association of the United States, the Army Engineer Association, and the American Society of Military Comptrollers.

Maj. King is the recipient of various team member citations and awards from the U.S. military, including the Facilities Regional Award for Excellence. She was recently recognized by Top Female Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs, as well as by Elite American Military. Maj.
