Attorney Glenn H. Schlabs Named Professional of the Year in Law

Mr. Schlabs brings 38 years of professional experience to his role as an attorney of Sherman & Howard L.L.C. Each day, he is responsible for overseeing daily business operations. Looking back, Mr. Schlabs attributes his success to taking a deep interest in clients, helping them achieve their goals and ambitions, as well as his natural curiosity. He also credits his knowledge of arcane areas of law. He became involved in his profession because the practice of law came as a second career after a successful career in the Air Force. At the time, there was a need for lawyers in the Air Force and his first assignment as a judge advocate was in collective bargaining and working with federal sector unions.

Mr. Schlabs received a JD from The University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with honors, and he has also earned a Master of Laws in labor law from Cornell University and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of California. Rounding out his education is a Bachelor of Science, earned from the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association, and he is the founder of the El Paso County Bar Association. In recognition of his hard work and dedication, he has been named as a Best Lawyer, and he holds an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. In years to come, Mr. Schlabs intends to continue delivering excellent customer service to clients.
