Henrichson Becomes Named Partner at Byrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, LLP

    AUSTIN, TX, May 10, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The newly named Byrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, LLP, is pleased to announce that attorney Kevin Henrichson has become a named partner with the law firm.

Mr. Henrichson enters his 13th year at Austin's oldest personal injury law firm, where he dedicates his practice exclusively to representing plaintiffs in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. He focuses specifically on cases involving vehicle accidents, aviation accidents, construction accidents, medical malpractice and product defects.

Mr. Henrichson comes from a family of lawyers. His father, Preston, practices law in Edinburg, Texas, working in the same building where his grandfather, E.G. Henrichson, practiced law for more than 40 years.

After earning an undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas A&M University, Mr. Henrichson followed in their footsteps by enrolling at St. Mary's University, School of Law.

He graduated at the top of his class and became admitted to practice law in Texas in 2001. Today, he is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas.

In his first year as a lawyer, Mr. Henrichson tried five cases by himself and won them all. He has gone on to achieve numerous noteworthy victories in court on behalf of his clients, including what Texas Lawyer Magazine reported to be the second-largest motor vehicle accident verdict in Texas in 2011 ($8.2 million) and the first civil verdict in Williamson County history for a case involving the concealment of an abducted child.

He most recently obtained a $1.5 million settlement on behalf of a bicyclist who was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle. Mr. Henrichson used advanced accident reconstruction and computer animation to establish the client's claim.

"My philosophy is to get ready to win in the courtroom," Mr. Henrichson said. "As soon as the other side sees that you are ready, that's when the reasonable settlement offer happens."

Mr. Henrichson is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Austin Bar Association, Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association and Robert W. Calvert American Inn of Court. He has been listed as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers and given a "Superb" Avvo rating.

In his spare time, he enjoys boating, hiking, fishing and spending time with his family. He is also a licensed pilot.
