Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Sydoni Yee as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    QUINCY, MA, May 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sydoni Yee, Vice-President of Product Development and Project Management Office (PMO) for Managing Care Managing Cost, LLC (MCMC) has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Sydoni Yee will be featured in an upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Entering into the healthcare industry in 1988 as an admitting representative at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida, the experience opened many doors of opportunity for Yee. She found herself getting into insurance billing and collections, then into the payment side of the industry where she was offered a position with Great West Life Insurance Company in Detroit, Michigan. Returning to Florida three years later, she began working with Insurance TPA's, and eventually project management.

Now serving as a the Vice-President of Product Development and Project Management Office (PMO) for Managed Care Managing Cost, LLC (MCMC), Yee leads and facilitates the project portfolio process by setting project management standards for project requests, serves as a source of guidance providing advice for the team of product managers, and establishes continuous communications with other senior leaders within the organization to maintain engagement for strategic solutions to business processes and, where appropriate, the translation of them into scalable system solutions.

"I was lucky to be exposed to leaders who were highly influential and I watched their values very closely and the application of their values with the relationships they had," Yee said in relation to her success in healthcare. "In turn, I had some leaders who saw some of those shared values in me and it made relationships ripe for sound mentoring."

Yee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Health Administration, also from the University of Phoenix. Currently residing in Lake Worth, Florida with her husband of 15 years and two children, ages 15 and 13, her family is her biggest motivator in both career and life. It has been their dedication to Yee's vision that has enabled her to be where she is today.
