DAYTON, OH, June 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- TAG is set to provide product demonstrations of the Precise Positioning Service (PPS) Global Positioning System-Survey (GPS-S) solution at the annual Institute of Navigation (ION) Joint Navigation Conference (JNC) being held in the Dayton Convention Center June 6-9. Attendees can visit TAG at booth 205 to view our latest innovations, and discuss product development opportunities with our team.
TAG's PPS GPS-S solution has been specifically designed to address the stringent requirements of military survey missions including geodetic, construction, airfield, and field artillery survey. PPS GPS-S provides precise GPS positioning accuracy with a military-grade GPS receiver that provides jamming and Emerging Threat (ET) protection. The GPS receiver is supplemented with data from foreign Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) constellations to increase accuracy, integrity, and service availability. PPS GPS-S gives military surveyors the tools needed to complete missions with minimum time-on-station.
The ION Military Division's Joint Navigation Conference is the largest U.S. military navigation conference with joint service and government participation. The event focuses on technical advances in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) with emphasis on joint development, test and support of affordable GN&C systems, logistics and integration. The conference includes a technical exhibit and showcase of Guidance, Navigation and Control technology products and services and Operational Product Demonstrations. To view the complete technical program, go to ion.org/jnc.
