Sycamore Creek joins five other Spectrum communities offering seniors the best of both worlds - luxurious and independent living at an affordable price with the flexibility of a month-to-month lease.
COLUMBUS, OH, June 08, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Construction is underway on Sycamore Creek Senior Living, an Independent Living community designed to offer affordable luxury with flexible month-to-month leasing programs to the growing senior population in and around Columbus.
Scheduled to open in late summer 2017, Sycamore Creek Senior Living is a project of Spectrum Retirement Communities, a Denver-based company ranked among the top 10 senior housing operators in the United States. Located in Pickerington at 611 Windmiller Drive, on the southwest corner of Hill and Diley roads, the 137,000-square-foot community will offer 132 apartment homes, ranging in size from studio apartments to two-bedroom, two-bath.
Holland is general contractor for the project, which was designed by architectural firm Vessel Architecture & Design.
"Demand is very high in Columbus for senior living," said Jeff Kraus, Spectrum Retirement Managing Director. "Sycamore Creek will join five other Spectrum communities that give seniors the best of both worlds - luxurious and independent living at an affordable price with the flexibility of a month-to-month lease. Add to that a wide range of amenities, entertainment and wellness programs, and a central location and you come up with a community that delivers an enviable quality of life."
In addition to its well-appointed residences, the property will feature top-flight amenities, chef-prepared dining and Spectrum's signature wellness programs.
Spectrum develops, owns and operates senior living communities throughout the United States. Sycamore Creek is the company's fifth community within the Columbus area, including Hilliard Assisted Living and Memory Care in Powell, which will open to residents on June 15. Construction is underway on Powell Senior Living in Powell and Three Creeks Senior Living in Gahanna, and planning has begun on a third community, Powell Assisted Living and Memory Care.
