Bea Martin Honored for Excellence in Nursing Education

    PASADENA, CA, June 10, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bea Martin, Director, Owner of Integrity College of Health has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing education.

Ms. Martin has worked with the Integrity College of Health for the past 18 years as the director of the department of nursing education. She is responsible for managing daily department operations and facilitating growth in new schools. She also works to develop and instruct course curricula, and mentor students enrolled in nursing programs. Ms. Martin recalls a time when she mentored a student who was repeating the school's nursing program for the second time. This was one of the most memorable moments of her career. Ms. Martin taught her how to function on the nursing floor, giving her the confidence and accountability to finish the program successfully.

Ms. Martin prepared for her career by obtaining an RN, MSN, PHN and FNP. She holds a Master of Science in nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and she has completed additional courses in health science through the Western University of Health Sciences. Furthermore, she is certified as a family nurse practitioner and public health nurse.

The Integrity College of Health offers students an array of nursing training courses through the tutelage of professional nurses. With the aid of state-of-the-art equipment and learning software, it offers vocational nurse training, director of staff development certification, and intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal certificates.
