Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Rachel Noth as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    SOUTHFIELD, MI, June 12, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rachel Noth, Program Coordinator for Area Agency on Aging 1B, has been recognized with an Excellence Award as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Rachel Noth will be featured in an upcoming edition of Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Enhancing the lives of older adults and adults with disabilities in the communities they serve as a Program Coordinator for Area Agency on Aging 1B, Rachel Noth has been serving in the healthcare industry for over a decade now, first as a Pharmacy Technician, then as a Nurse Assistant. Today, her role has enabled her to really appreciate the field, and she eager for the future.

Making sure that all healthcare information is entered correctly, that data is always correct, and that she is always on the same page as each nurse, social worker, and family, Noth takes her job very seriously.

"I am in the business of touching peoples' lives," Noth said happily. "I'm glad I followed my heart and stayed true to the field, and I have my family to thank for that."

Entering into a different area of healthcare has not been easy.

"It takes a lot of courage to try something new," she noted, "especially because I was so young when I first started out. Often times, I wasn't taken seriously. But I am grateful for my decisions today."

Noth is the current Chair for Hazel Park Lions Club where she also hosts an annual bowling fundraiser for the club with her husband, Steven. She also serves as President of the Hazel Park Board of Education.

Earning her BS in Psychology from Wayne State University in 2014, Noth likes to volunteer, read, be in the outdoors, and spend time with family and friends. She also loves listening to jazz music, Motown, and old country.
