ROCHESTER, NY, June 16, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Corn Hill Neighbors Association is excited to announce a dynamic musical lineup jam-packed with Grammy nominated and nationally recognized talents for this year's Corn Hill Arts Festival. Local, regional, and national acts will fill four stages all weekend long at the 48th Annual Festival, which takes place Saturday and Sunday July 9th and 10th.
The Corn Hill Arts Festival is showcasing an eclectic mix of 23 bands over two days. From pop and rock to creole, contemporary jazz, folk and funk, guests can enjoy these acts free of charge.
"This festival season exhibits truly world-class talent," says music producer Michael "Woody" Woodward. "We're excited to bring such renowned artists to Rochester. Many of the acts have toured nationally with some of the biggest names in music."
Sunday will feature Grammy nominated zydeco superstar C.J. Chenier and The Red Hot Louisiana Band on the Valley Cadillac Main Stage. Chenier has a long list of accolades, having performed alongside Paul Simon and Joe Sample. This critically acclaimed musician comes to Rochester with creole soul and a signature beat that brings the crowd to their feet.
Annual favorite Todd East returns to Corn Hill, performing a Tribute to Stevie Wonder. Todd East honors Wonder with his piano prowess and rich vocals, showcasing the iconic music catalog Stevie Wonder has amassed over his brilliant career.
Todd performs his tribute on Saturday at the Valley Cadillac Main Stage. He returns on Sunday at the 585 Magazine Avery Mall Stage for a performance with East, Richmond, and Cohen: a pop/classic rock show with Jimmy Richmond on saxophone and Dave Cohen on percussion.
In addition, the Corn Hill Arts Festival presents Miller and Other Sinners on this year's lineup. This nationally touring Southern Soul band from Buffalo, NY, brings a blend of gut bucket delta grit, memphis soul, gospel spirit and funky rhythm and blues to the Valley Cadillac Main Stage on Sunday. Founder David Michael Miller has shared the stage with artists such as Tedeschi Trucks Band, Steve Miller Band, Joe Bonamassa and more. He boasts tremendous musicianship accompanied by infectious grooves for an unforgettable performance.
Guests can enjoy beer and wine at the Labatt Blue Light Gazebo Stage, located within the Beer and Glenora Wine Garden. Musical acts at the Gazebo Stage include Americana rockers, The Chinchillas and Junkyard Field Trip. Rochester Woman Magazine's Porch at 27 Atkinson St. Stage will feature Emerging Artists' Kennedy Jason and Hanna PK along with other exciting acts.

The 48th Annual Corn Hill Arts Festival welcomes more than 375 original artisans, 26 live music acts, The 8th Annual Emerging Artists Expo, The 4th Annual Fairy Houses Tour and new this year, a Classic Car Show, along with international food vendors and food trucks. The Festival is July 9th and 10th, 2016 in the historic Corn Hill Neighborhood and is free to the public. The grounds will be open from 10a.m. to 6p.m. on Saturday, and 10a.m. to 5p.m. on Sunday, rain or shine.
Funds raised during the Corn Hill Arts Festival through sponsorships, vendors, and exhibitors are used by the Neighbors Association for community improvement. Festival funds are also used for protecting and promoting the historical character and beauty of the area. The Corn Hill Neighbors Association encourages cultural diversity, and strives to foster good relations not only within the neighborhood, but the surrounding communities as well.
