PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, June 18, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Visual Artist Jessica Serran has created a new online platform, http://www.jessicaserran.com, home to resources, e-courses and one-on-one coaching programs for visual artists. The Becoming Artist Movement teaches artists from around the globe how to transcend existing art world practices to create careers on their own terms.
Serran believes that artists have a powerful role to play in community and that their art career should be as much as an act of creation as art-making itself. In her signature program, Becoming Artist: Make Art. Claim your Calling. Monetize your Mission artists are taught to leverage their own creative process and jettison the Starving Artist Beliefs that hold so many back. Through one-on-one coaching and community support, artists are trained to become leaders of an international creative movement through the power of community.
Jessica Serran, the visual artist and leader behind The Becoming Artist Movement began her own art-making journey over a decade ago before becoming an international artist. Currently living in Prague, CZ she has exhibited throughout North America and internationally. Lit up by marketing as much as art-making, her coaching programs are changing the limiting beliefs and starving artist paradigms that hold so many artists back. Serran makes marketing and creativity seem like two sides of the same coin.
"Art making is more than just the art objects that we create, it's about who we become in the process," says Serran.
"Jessica sparkles with enthusiasm and infinite possibility as a guide into the world of creative businesses and claiming one's calling. She's held an enormous amount of space for my creative expansion, and seamlessly combines the practicalities of setting up a heart-centered business with intentional living and consciousness," says Tamar Swartz.
