After high school, Dennis Masden needed a job and went to work as a laborer. After he was in construction for some time, he went to an apprentice school for carpentry and obtained his journeyman card. Following that, he went to college at night to complete his degree. After earning a bachelor's degree in child psychology and earth science from Indiana University, Mr. Masden then earned a master's vocational education degree from Texas A&M University. Additionally, he has earned a class A supervisor license in the cities of Denver, Aurora and Littleton, Colorado

Mr. Masden has been in the construction industry for more than five decades. Skilled in project management and program engineering, he works locally, and his company provides commercial demolition, abatement, and hazmat removal services. In his spare time, he is involved in martial arts, and performs four times a week. He also enjoys fishing and hunting. Looking ahead, Mr. Masden intends to run a special projects division and mentor young professionals who are about to enter the industry.
