She earned a bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences with a minor in chemistry and has since worked as a nutritionist in the women's health industry and as an educator and client liaison working with a chiropractor naturopath. Dr. Laudermilk also had her own business doing nutritional consultations. She has since received a Ph.D. in nutritional sciences with dual training in epidemiology.

Dr. Laudermilk currently serves as the Senior Director of Research of EXOS, where she handles all of the analytic reporting for the company, in addition to overseeing research activities and partnerships. She has also established a cutting-edge research and analytics team to evaluate work site wellness programming. She has a varied background, sampling from many areas, and being research minded, Dr. Laudermilk uses a methodology that is very different from the average person in the industry. She is inspired by her passion for helping people become better versions of themselves. There is always a new challenge, and she loves the investigative and problem-solving aspect of her work.

Dr. Laudermilk is an honored member of The International Women's Leadership Association, recognized for her contribution to family, career and community. She was also named to Elite Women Worldwide.
