AURORA, CO, June 29, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mental health speaker Jeff Zinn is pleased to announce he will be joining the ranks of the NAMI National Hall of Fame. NAMI--the National Alliance on Mental Illness--holds this ceremony once every year for those who have made considerable strides within the mental health field. Zinn is receiving a place in the Hall of Fame due to his work with In Our Own Voices as a volunteer presenter.
This award serves as a tremendous honor for Zinn, who has worked in the mental health field as a speaker and advocate for several years. When asked about his nomination, Zinn remarked, "I'm very honored to have been chosen for the Hall of Fame. I hope this kind of recognition will help me reach out to a wider audience of people living with mental illness across the country."
The official ceremony will be held on July 9 in the city of Denver. Anyone interested in attending can receive further information by emailing Zinn at [email protected] or calling him at 303-856-3553.
After his diagnosis of Bipolar I Disorder, Jeff Zinn devoted himself to helping others coping with mental illnesses much like his own. As he recovered, he learned of Don Miguel Ruiz's Four Agreements, which helped him manage his illness. Now Zinn strives to spread his learning to help those interested in working in the mental health field or living with mental illness themselves and pushing toward a healthier life.
