New Online Clothing Store Opens

    LITTLE ROCK, AR, July 01, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Arkansas based graphic artist, Tam McClure has opened a new clothing and accessories store online called South of Memphis. McClure has been an artist and designer for more than 25 years and has worked in fiber arts and fashion design since 2006.

When asked why open an online store now, McClure said, "I have always wanted to do this but have not been in a financial position to do so until now. Plus, I know that in 20 to 25 years when I'm ready to retire from my full time job as Marketing Director for FlagandBanner.com in Little Rock, that I will want something to do from home. I'm the type of person who always needs a project, plus doing something that can supplement whatever is left of Social Security by then or what is left of pension plans and 401K plans that seem to take a huge hit every time something goes wrong in the world would be a smart move for my family. Just look at the recent Brexit vote. We lost thousands from our 401K accounts because of the market instability that caused."

McClure's shop is currently an online only venture. The company is named South of Memphis and can be found at http://www.southofmemphis.com. She has also set up various social media accounts.

The design focus of South of Memphis is unique designs on common casual clothing like t-shirts, tank tops, sweat shirts, leggings, dresses, handbags, totes and jewelry. South of Memphis has obtained licenses for popular fan favorites like Star Wars, Marvel and DC Comics and various other popular themes. Each item is designed by an artist or by Mcclure herself and available for sale with a wide price range to appeal to any buyer.

"We are also offering custom t-shirt printing services as well starting at a minimum of 25 shirts of various sizes. This allows community softball or baseball teams to easily fundraise for their teams for example. Other groups like school clubs or church groups and small businesses will also be able to afford custom printed shirts at a reasonable price without having to purchase them in multiples of 100 or more. Other online shirt companies are doing minimums as low as 1 shirt but they charge around $18 for that one shirt and price breaks don't start until they hit a high number of multiples and the breaks aren't particularly good. We wanted to offer something that even the smallest groups on a low budget could afford," McClure explained.
