Fresh From The Italy Music Scene, Pop Rock Band The General Brothers Take Top Honors Winning Two Gold Medals From Global Music Awards

One for their single "Feel The Magic" which won for Best Pop/Rock Song and the other for Best Band. No stranger to the Italian music scene, Angelo Esposito, a well known actor (whose stage name of Angelo Mocacelli -see acting resume here-best viewed in Google to translate: bit.ly/ActorAgency) and his brother Andrea Esposito along with their band, the General Brothers, perform songs written by them in English (only) and truly capture the sound of 70's, 80's and 90's music of the US lifestyle. Currently, they perform regular shows in Milan and Rome. They are also the resident band at Le Trottoir in Milan, Italy, a buzzing center for live music in the area. Other venues they've performed at include San Belushi, Maison Milano, Anema & Core in Capri and more.

The two brothers began their career as an acoustic duo, penning their own songs with a taste for all different types of music. They decided to put together a band for a more complete line up and found it was the right move toward their desired sound. To best describe their sound, each individual track reflects diverse influences from The Stones, The Beatles, Lou Reed and even UB40; and result in a overall tone of The Kooks, The Wombats, Ra Ra Riot, Strumbellas, 5 Seconds of Summer, One Direction and Fun. About The General Brothers
Five piece band The General Brothers consists of members Angelo and Andrea Esposito, Riccardo Garcia, Umberto Maria Lupo and Leonardo Giuntini. Started by brothers Angelo and Andrea as an acoustic duo in 2012, the rest of the band came together through various chance encounters with friends and other musicians. They soon realized they all shared a passion for music and performing and wanted to pursue opportunities as a five-piece band. Angelo is the main writer of the band's original music and sings and plays rhythm guitar for the band. He started writing original songs for the band in 2014 with his brother until bass player Giuntini joined them. They self-released and recorded their debut The General Brothers in 2015 before being joined by guitarist Garcia and drummer Lupo to complete the final line up of the band.
