Sarah Y. Liang was promoted to partner from senior manager. She is a member of Ernst & Young LLP's Advisory Risk practice in Orange County and San Diego, where she serves high profile clients in the gaming and hospitality industry. In addition to providing exceptional service to her clients, Liang builds a better working world by leading diversity and inclusiveness initiatives as a member of the firm's Pan Asian Professional Network steering committee and as a board member on the Ascend Los Angeles Metro Chapter, a non-profit organization that focuses on developing current and future Pan Asian leaders. Liang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economic from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Orange County chapter.
Tim Rahall was promoted to partner from senior manager. Rahall is a member of Ernst & Young LLP's Assurance practice, and has more than a decade of experience working with high-profile public and pre-IPO technology clients. He is well-versed in SEC financial reporting requirements, multiple-element arrangement and software revenue recognition, complex inventory valuation, debt and equity matters, share-based compensation accounting and complex valuation estimates. Rahall is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in California. He has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Rahall is also passionate about finding a cure for Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T) and improving the lives of children who suffer from the rare neurodegenerative disease. As an A-T Children's Project board member, he has raised over $600,000 in the past five years to fund A-T research, with the support of his family, friends, EY colleagues and the Southern California business community.
Sam Mukherjee was promoted to executive director from senior manager. He is a member of Ernst & Young LLP's Advisory practice, and brings with him more than two decades of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, customer service relationship management and regulatory compliance. Mukherjee works with clients across the banking, wealth management and insurance industries and has deep expertise in customer analytics, solution and data architectures, data integration and information delivery, smart data lakes and self-driven analytics. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a member of The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) and the Data Governance Institute.
