EY Announces Leadership Promotions in Seattle

    SEATTLE, WA, July 11, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ernst & Young LLP recently announced the promotion of two professionals, Eric Ellefsen and Jason Heinz, in its Seattle practice, adding to its ranks of over 44 client-serving executives.

Eric Ellefsen was promoted to director from associate director. Ellefsen joined the firm in 2015 as its Global Learning Design Leader. Passionate about aligning instruction with the science of how people learn, over the past 20 years Ellefsen has served in a number of learning and development roles within the education, health care, and telecommunications sectors. His experience includes instructional design, personalized learning, and designing e-Learning platforms that support evidence-based instructional methods. Ellefsen received his PhD in Educational Technology from the University of Northern Colorado.

Jason Heinz was promoted to director from associate director. As part of the firm's Advisory practice, Heinz serves as its Global Advisory Sales Strategy and Sales Excellence leader. Heinz has over 15 years of professional services and industry experience in business strategy and transformation, sale and channel management, product management and development, marketing, enterprise risk and operations. Prior to EY, Heinz held a variety of roles including product manager for a leading software company, managing international and domestic sales activities for eSecurityOnline, a subsidiary of Ernst & Young LLP, and managing IT development and services projects for an information technology firm. Heinz has advanced degrees in both Engineering Management and Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. He has served as a Board Member for the Crisis Clinic of Seattle/King County and currently is the Council Chairman for Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Snoqualmie.
