Katie's Pizza and Pasta Osteria to Host July Giveback Tuesday Benefiting St. Louis Arc

    ST. LOUIS, MO, July 15, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Katie's Pizza and Pasta Osteria in Rock Hill is excited to announce their upcoming Giveback Tuesday event featuring the St. Louis Arc, set for Tues., July 26.

Every month Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria features a local nonprofit charity and donates 100 percent of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the charity. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. To date, Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria has raised over $61,000 for local charities.

The local St. Louis Arc chapter is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. They are also St. Louis's most comprehensive provider of services to people with Down Syndrome and Autism spectrum disorders. They assist more than 3,500 adults and children by offering them respite services, community integration programs, early childhood, employment help, family support, residential services, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders prevention and advocacy through their Go The Whole 9 campaign.

"It is always gratifying to see an individual or a family reach their goals and build strong relationships within the community," said Tessa Klassen, Special Events Manager, when asked about the most gratifying aspect of St. Louis Arc.

All funds raised will directly impact the programs and services that St. Louis Arc provides.

Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria is open every day at 11 a.m. and features Happy Hour specials from 3 to 5 p.m. and 9 to 10 p.m. Carry-outs are also available.
