Visix Wins Two 2016 InfoComm Best of Show Awards from rAVe [Publications]

    ATLANTA, GA, July 15, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Visix, Inc. has been honored with two Best of Show Awards from rAVe [Publications] for new products shown at InfoComm 2016: "Best New Digital Signage Media Player" and "Best New Digital Signage Software Interface". Visix showcased a full line of digital signage software, meeting room signs and interactive projects at the event held in Anaheim in June.

Visix's new Micro Media Player won Best New Digital Signage Media Player. This is a low-cost option that is as small and lightweight as a mobile phone at only .75 inches wide x 5 inches deep x 1.5 inches high. The player can plug directly into displays, or users can take advantage of a custom mounting cradle with extension cable for connections that are hard to reach. The company also created a custom interactive project for College of Charleston with augmented reality that brought home the award for Best New Digital Signage Software Interface. Trigger images on the screen and elsewhere in the booth were scanned with phone cameras to launch an augmented reality overlay with video and more information.
