He served as director of cataract and IOL implant surgery at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the Yale University School of Medicine from 1999 - 2006 and is now an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Yale University. He is now Chief of Ophthalmology at Yale New Haven Hospital/Bridgeport and Chief of cataract/laser surgery at the West Haven Veterans Hospital.
