Ms. Easley earned a Master of Science in forest genetics from SUNY/Syracuse University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She also holds a JD from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude. She holds board certification as an expert in appellate law and received the Award for "Excellence in the Promotion of Board Certification" from The Florida Bar.

She is admitted to practice in all federal appellate courts, from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First through Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
