California Institute of Abnormalarts (CIA) hosts underground musical groups, performance art, movie screenings and sideshow acts
LOS ANGELES, CA, July 29, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Independent film producer, Suzanne DeLaurentiis, along with screenwriter Carl Crew are scheduled to host their second Horror Noir Industry Mixer to raise awareness and benefit Operation Hollywood (a program developed by Suzanne DeLaurentiis that trains and employs veterans for careers in the film industry). The event will take place on Tuesday August 2nd at Carl's venue, the California Institute of Abnormalarts, in North Hollywood, CA. California Institute of Abnormalarts (CIA) hosts underground musical groups, performance art, movie screenings and sideshow acts.
Guests will receive a tour of the venue, that includes historical oddities and collectables from around the world. Following the tour, a classic horror film will be screened, and after that, attendees will have an opportunity to pitch their horror film to industry professionals.
Some of Suzanne's producing credits include 10th and Wolf, The Grief Tourist, A Month of Sundays, and How Sweet It Is. Suzanne devotes much of her spare time to veteran charities raising money and awareness.
