The report by Babson College also found that entrepreneurship has the highest participation rate among people age 35 to 44 - this group represent 17% of those who started a small business in 2015. 15% of men and 9% of women saw their entrepreneurship rates decline by 2% in 2015. And overall, the rate of men's entrepreneurship outstrips that of women by 1.5%, which has remained constant since 2001.
