HGF Family Day Empowers Florida Families with Children with Growth Disorders

    ORLANDO, FL, August 25, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Human Growth Foundation will host "HGF Family Day" on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Sea World, from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, in Orlando, Florida. The nonprofit event is in celebration of National Growth Awareness Week and will engage, educate and empower local families whose children have growth disorders.

HGF Family Day will include workshops to learn about the latest developments in growth disorders, combating bullying, and obtaining medical insurance reimbursement. Families will have a chance to meet with health care providers, obtain resources on growth disorders, followed by zoo adventure.

Human Growth Foundation established HGF Family Day following the U.S Senates groundbreaking Growth Awareness Resolution, S. Res. 489, in 2014, acknowledging children's Growth Awareness Week, thus acknowledging the importance of what a child's growth pattern can say about their overall health.
