The NAO Congress will be held at The New England Robotics Validation and Experimentation (NERVE) Center at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, Massachusetts. - home of the NASA Valkyrie Robot. The 2016 NAO Congress will bring together NAO Robot Researchers, Developers, and Users from around the world for this "Future is NAO" event.
The NAO Congress will feature keynote presentations by: Momotaz Begnum, Assistant Professor, University of New Hampshire, Matthew Craig Gombolay, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and James Dietrich, North American Business Manager, SoftBank Robotics. NAO robot application and language developers from Canada, Belgium, France, and the United States will present their NAO robot use case applications in decision support systems, medical uses such as pediatric assisted medical care, pediatric dentistry, skilled nursing facilities, autism therapy, dementia therapy, STEM education, consumer retail engagement, hospitality/hotel concierge and public library sponsored makerspaces.
