Terry Aiken Brown will be featured in Women of Distinction Magazine's Top 10 of 2016 edition.
Incorporated in 2006, Owner of TAP Financial Services, LLC Terry Aiken Brown spent 30 previous years working in various capacities in the field of taxation, corporate, small business, individual income tax, accounting, and payroll. Going back to college to earn her Master's Degree in Accounting and Taxation in 1996 through Mercer Stetson Business School, she spent another 10 years in the workforce before realizing her dream of entrepreneurship.
Today, Brown's firm, TAP Financial Services, LLC, specializes and offers year-round services in tax consultations and services for small businesses, to include business setup, S-Corp and Partnership returns, non-profit organizations, multi-state payroll, estimated and sales and used taxes, notary, individual tax return preparations, IRS tax notices resolutions, to providing miscellaneous how-to assistance, such as completing a W-4, FASA application, budgeting, and more.

Brown earned her undergraduate degree in business management from Claflin University in 1985. A Girl Scout Troop Leader in the Florence Pee Dee area and Treasurer for 11 years, Brown very much enjoys engaging in community related organizations. She's been volunteering her time with the homeless population and in domestic violence shelters and transitional homes for over 15 years in Atlanta, Georgia, and for the past eight years as a volunteer with The Naomi Project, in Florence, South Carolina. She's also affiliated with The Center for Women, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that serves to help educate and advocate so that women in the state of South Carolina can gain economic success.
