The Service School is a three-day clinic that prepares industry professionals to operate, maintain, and service BHS battery handling equipment.
ST. LOUIS, MO, September 01, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Battery Handling Systems, Inc (BHS), a leading provider of material handling and battery changing equipment, offers multi-day intensive training classes for dealers and technicians. The last session of 2016 will take place October 17-20.
The Service School is a three-day clinic that prepares industry professionals to operate, maintain, and service BHS battery handling equipment. Immediately following the Service program, on the final day of a four-day session, dealers can attend Installation School, a comprehensive course on installing BHS systems.
Both programs are entirely free, with three meals a day included at no charge. Participants that attend both sessions will receive certification from BHS, allowing them to expand revenue for their businesses through service and installation of the BHS products they sell.
The curriculum for the Service School, which includes both classroom work and hands-on learning, covers every facet of BHS battery handling equipment, from operation to maintenance and troubleshooting. Students will also learn about the features and options for top-selling models, providing expertise that will help drive sales at local dealerships.
At Installation School sessions, dealers learn to install a complete Operator Aboard Battery Extractor System, including battery wash equipment. Gantry Crane Systems for overhead-access forklift batteries are also on the curriculum. Installation School attendees also receive comprehensive instruction on profiling battery room floors for requisite flatness.
Students who complete both sessions receive certification to install and service BHS equipment. This certificate qualifies graduates for greater rates of reimbursement for warranty labor, as well as exclusive Tech Support materials, annual dealer reports, and preferential scheduling of BHS Mobile Showroom visits for customers.
BHS will provide shuttle transportation between the recommended lodging and the training facility for each day of the course. Students are encouraged to wear steel-toed boots for hands-on training.
