OXNARD, CA, September 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Join in the celebration and step back in time as the remarkable full-scale replica of San Salvador - the first European vessel to explore California's coast - makes her maiden voyage and first stop at the Channel Islands Harbor,Oxnard, Sept. 15 -18. The Channel Islands Maritime Museum, 3900 Bluefin Circle, Oxnard, hosts a full interactive exhibit that recreates a dockside environment as it was in the year 1542, and prepares visitors for boarding the exquisite replica of the galleon San Salvador.
With tickets purchased at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum, visitors will receive museum admission, experience a special exhibit on the San Salvador and walk up the gangplank for an exclusive tour of the stunning ship. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $10 for kids ages 6-17, free for children under 6. Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
