It's about giving this place a new identity and a fresh start.
ANN ARBOR, MI, September 13, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As part of a multi-million-dollar renovation project, the hotel formerly known as Kensington Court Ann Arbor is launching into a new era under a new name and brand, The Kensington Hotel on State Street.
"This renovation is not only about updating the entire building," says hotel manager Dan Fine. "It's about giving this place a new identity and a fresh start."
In addition, the hotel's address has been changed from 610 Hilton Boulevard to 3500 South State Street.
"We've been here since before Briarwood Mall was built," says Fine. "But with hotel's new identity, we wanted to be affiliated with the growing businesses on one of the city's major roadways, South State Street."
The hotel is in the process of updating all of their online directory listings to reflect the changes. The Kensington Hotel staff are excited for guests to experience the renovations and to build their reputation as an iconic Ann Arbor hotel.
