Dovetail Brewery Releases Seasonal Rauchweizen for Fall 2016

A smoked wheat beer, the Rauchweizen goes perfectly with the changing weather.

Smoked beer is an old German beer style with origins dating back to the 1500's, with the heart of current production being in the town of Bamberg in the region of Franconia. It's typically a dark color but with smokiness so robust, so assertive, that it nearly recreates the taste of spiced, smoked meat.
